Curreri, Frank A. of Weymouth, formerly a long time resident of North Quincy at the age of 90, February 8, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Claire P. (Charboneau) Curreri Dear father of Mildred J. Warner and her husband Thomas of Brockton, Diane L. Cunio of Braintree and Leonard F. Curreri and his wife Karen of Weymouth. Brother of the late Jerome, Dominick,Vincent, Anthony, Joseph and Antonetta Curreri. Adored grandfather of Thomas Warner, Danielle Dubuc, Matthew Warner, Kimberly Driscoll, Keri Moran, Joanne McDaniel, Frank R.Curreri & Katie Curreri. Mr. Curreri is also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of Mr. Curreri may be made to American Cancer Society, 18 Tremont St.,Suite 700, Boston, MA 02108 Frank A. Curreri was born in the North End of Boston in 1916. He grew up in the North End and worked with his brothers on their fathers fishing boat called the “Fred Henry”. He married Claire P. Charboneau and then entered the United States Army where he fought valiantly in the Pacific. Frank was honored with a good conduct medal, a victory medal, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon and a Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon. After his military service, Frank returned to establish his own Wholesale/ Retail Seafood business in Dorchester called Frank’s Seafood. He later closed his business and began working as an Investigator with the State Attorney General’s Office, where he retired at the age of 65. Frank was known to his family as “Papa” . He loved his family first and foremost, then he loved the sun and then the ocean and singing. He will be missed by many and was loved by all.
