Francis N. Buckley, of Marshfield and formerly of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Lena M. (Mignosa) Buckley. Born August 4, 1926 in Boston. He was the son of the late Dennis J. Buckley and Katherine Buckley. A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Army. After serving he returned to Boston where he spent his career employed by Stop & Shop. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Dennis and Patricia Buckley, Donna and Bob Ray and Brian and Debbie Buckley; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan, Kara, David, Stephanie and Christopher; his great-grandchildren Andrew, Isabella, Nicholas and Gabriella; his brother John Buckley and his wife Anna; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was the brother of the late Edmund C. Buckley, Kenneth J. Buckley, Sr., Arthur Buckley, Gloria Buckley, Evelyn Peura and Donald Buckley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 9:00-9:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Francis may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
