Devine, Francis L. of No. Quincy, formerly of So. Boston, January 10, 2003. Husband of the late Mary F. (Shannon). Loving father of Donald F. Devine of Clermont, FL, Maureen A. Sluk of Morristown, NJ, and Susan C. Sampson of Plymouth. Dear friend of Jean Chinzi of Braintree. Brother of the late John Devine. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Squantum at 9: AM. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7- 9 . Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Mr. Devine was a life long member of the South Boston Yacht Club. He loved to race sailboats. While serving in the Coast Guard, he was stationed at Boston Light and has always loved the ocean. He worked as a shipfitter and quartermaster for the Boston Naval Shipyard.
