Sullivan, Francis J. of Quincy, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died October 9, 2014. 

Francis graduated from Boston Latin School and Boston College.  He was a lifelong learner and was always taking courses and attending seminars.  He received his Masters Degree in Religous Education from Cardinal Cushing College.  A Veteran of WWII, Francis served in the U.S. Army.  He was an insurance underwriter and worked his entire career for Kemper Insurance.  His faith was also important in his life and he was a Eucharistic Minister and CCD Instructor at St. Ann’s Church in Quincy, and member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Jamaica Plain.  Mr. Sullivan enjoyed tennis and golf and will be remembered for his wonderful memory and outgoing personality. 

Beloved husband of Barbara (Congram) Sullivan of Quincy.  Loving son of the late Harold F. Sullivan and M. Elizabeth (Morrissey) Sullivan.  Cherished brother of Mary Sennott of Norwood, Emily O’Connor of NJ, and Joan Butler of ME.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Francis may be made to a charity of your choice.
