(Richardi) of Hingham, loving father of Patricia and her husband Ralph Bates of Scituate, Linda and her husband Steve Walsh of Marshfield and Karen Ricketts of Kingston. Brother of the late Bernard A. Ranieri. Devoted grandfather of Dan Bates, Kristin Flood, Michelle and Erica Ricketts and great grandfather of Jamie, Derek and Andrew. Relatives, family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.Veteran WW II, Retired as a Lt. Cmdr. from the U.S. Navy Reserve after 24 years. Was a math teacher, coach and Asst. Headmaster at Derby Academy, Hingham. Past President Boston Acrhdiocese Holy Name Soc., former speaker Catholic Speakers Bureau and Toast Masters So. Division. Earned a Bach. of Science degree in Engineering from Tufts. Univ. and a Masters in Education from Bridgewater State College. Francis was married to his wife Mary for 60 yrs.
