Costa, Francis J. of Quincy, 85, died April 2, 2014.
Frank was a draftsman for Boston Edison for 37 years before his retirement in 1990. He was a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Navy and was also a member of the Army National Guard. He was active in the Saint Ann’s Bowling League, the USS Coral Sea Association, and the VFW Post # 697 in Whitman. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. He always loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of Catherine “Kay” Goslin-Costa of Quincy, and the late Mary Louise (O’Brien) Costa. Loving father of Dr. John J. Costa and his wife, Brenda, of Kingston, Cathy Moynihan and her husband, David, of Falmouth, and Frank J. Costa and his former wife, Lisa, of Westbury, NY. Step-father of William Goslin of Plymouth, Kathleen Chisholm of South Weymouth, Kevin Goslin of Norwell, and the late John Goslin. Brother of John Costa of Walpole and the late Leo Costa. Loving Grampy of Jay, Kerri, Sean, Maria, Matthew, and Michelle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
