Francis G. “Frank” Tivnan

Francis G. “Frank”  Tivnan of Hull, age 91,  passed away peacefully surrounded by his sons on  March 20, 2018.  The beloved husband of the late Margaret E. (Lydon) Tivnan. Loving father of Michael Tivnan and his wife Kristin of Hanover, John  Tivnan and his wife Eleanor of Weymouth, Robert Tivnan and his wife Haidee of Hingham and Margaret Wood and her husband Douglas of Hingham. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Jack, Trent, Joanna, Nicole, Brett and Fiona.   Frank grew up in Roslindale, he served in the United States Army during W.W.II and was stationed in the Philippines. After his military service, he married and raised his family in Hull. Frank was a police officer for the MDC for 12 years before he retired and began  his second career working for the US Postal service. He enjoyed fishing and walking Nantasket Beach as well as the beaches in Naples Florida with his beloved wife Margaret. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
