Francis E. Hogan of Weymouth, died March 23, 2021.

Frank was born and raised in Dorchester (OFD) and has lived in Weymouth for over 50 years. He graduated from Boston College High School Class of 1946 and went on to proudly serve in the US Army at the end of WWII. He worked as a construction engineer for Polaroid for 40 years before retiring in 1993. Frank enjoyed cooking, reading or a nice walk with the dog. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of the late Roberta (Pirie) Hogan. Devoted father of Kathleen Hogan of Weymouth, Michael Hogan and his wife Joanne of Hingham, Teri Mount and her husband Alan of Weymouth, Brenda Haley and her husband Frank of Pembroke and Christine Bomba and her husband Steven of NH. Loving brother of the late Mary Webster and brother-in-law of the late Louise Pirie. Cherished Gramps of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his loving grandson Steven Bomba.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday 10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 AM.

Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to Boston College High School, 150 Morrissey Blvd, Boston, MA 02125.

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Francis’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
