Frances R. Penella

Penella, Frances R.  (Buonvicino) a longtime Quincy resident, died peacefully on July 3, 2015.

The beloved wife of the late Domenic Penella. Loving mother of Robert Penella and his wife Sara of Hartsdale, NY, Vincent Penella and his wife Sally of Pepperell, Frank Penella of Weymouth and Steven Penella and his partner David D’Amato of Jamaica Plain. Sister of the late Rocco Buonvicino and Charles Verno. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Nicole Penella, Luke and Melanie Penella and  Martha  and Stephen Busemeyer. Great grandmother of Thomas and Julia Busemeyer and Ryder Rotaru Penella. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Penella loved to travel. She also enjoyed line dancing, playing Bingo, knitting and crocheting. A talented cook, she always loved preparing meals for her family to enjoy. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family, they were the foundation of everything that was truly important to her.  She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
