Frances Patricia “Fran” Gorham

Frances Patricia “Fran” Gorham (Mulkern) of Quincy, passed away on Saturday, November 6.  She was 81.

Born in South Boston to Joseph Mulkern and Elizabeth (McManus).  She was raised in South Boston and graduated from Nazareth High School.  After graduating, Fran started working at New England Telephone where she worked for 40 years as a Payroll Supervisor.

Fran loved to entertain her family and friends on holidays and will be remembered as an excellent cook.  In her spare time she loved being at her house on Cape Cod, shopping, and spending time with her many nieces and nephews that she adored like her own children. She will be remembered as a charitable, devout Catholic who’s energetic and easy going personality made for excellent company.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Fran is predeceased by her beloved husband Festy “Frank” Gorham, and her sister Mary Fogarty.

She is survived by her siblings: Elizabeth List and her husband Charles of OH, Irene Denaro of Quincy and Joseph Mulkern of Quincy.  Also survived by her sister-in-law, Sister Barabara Gorham of Wellesley and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A  Funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 16. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
