Frances P. “Peggy” Foley

Foley, Frances P. “Peggy” (Walsh) of S. Boston formerly of Mattapan, December 28, 2007. Beloved mother of Frances M. and her husband Michael Gates, Patrick L. Foley and his wife Mary, Theresa C. and her husband Francis Hartel; all of Quincy, and Anne L. and her husband Gary Meyerson of Scituate. Loving sister of Elizabeth Briana of Falmouth, Laura J. “Lolly” Leary of S. Boston, Archie “Buddy” Walsh of Hingham and the late Claire Frame. Former wife of the late Henry T. Foley. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Frances was proud to be a triplet along with her sister “Lolly” and brother “Buddy”. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School. Mrs. Foley enjoyed knitting, shopping, ice cream, reading and the Red Sox. She belonged to the Legion of Mary and Church Choir at Saint Monica’s Church, S. Boston. Frances has resided for the past four years at Marian Manor in S. Boston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-6 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Mrs. Foley may be made to Marian Manor, Patient Activities Fund, 130 Dorchester St., S.
