Frances P. (Nigrelli) Avitabile

Mrs. Frances P. (Nigrelli) Avitabile, of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 14, 2022.  She was 78.

The cornerstone of her life was her beloved family and grandchildren. She enjoyed her Italian cooking and proudly shared her delicious meatballs with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of Louis Avitabile.

Loving mother of Karen Putnam of Weymouth, Michael Avitabile of Weymouth, Robert Avitabile and his wife, Antonella, of Duxbury, and Kristen Avitabile of Weymouth. Sister of  Virginia Costantino of Weymouth, Santina White of Quincy, and James Nigrelli of Braintree. Cherished Grammy to Michael, Victoria, Lexi, and Ava. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
