Frances M. Morrill

Morrill, Frances M.( Marrocco) of Quincy, November 08, 2009, surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family. Beloved wife of 61 years to Douglas P. Morrill Jr. of Quincy. Loving mother of Douglas P. Morrill, III and his wife Kathleen of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Megan,Kaitlin and Rebecca Morrill all of Quincy.Daughter of the late Nicola and Anna Zapacosta) Marrocco. Sister of Lucille O’Connell of RI, Joseph Marrocco of Duxbury, Alfred Marrocco of Abington, Rita Carver of FL, and Dorothy Finn of Pocasset and the late Justino and Constantino Marrocco and Eleanor Thorbahn. Frances is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Frances was born,raised and educated in Quincy. Fran worked as a clerk in the Tax Department for the City of Quincy for over 25 years before retiring in 1991. She loved to cook and travel. She was an active member of the City of Quincy’s Retirees Association and the Son’s of Italy. Most of all Fran loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
