Frances M. Mcneil

McNeil, Frances M. (Volpe) of Weymouth, died May 4, 2020 at the age of 95.

Frances was a determined lady who put her mind to something and achieved it.  She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with those she loved.  Frances’ main passion in life was her family especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  Frances will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.   

Beloved wife of the late Robert McNeil.  Loving mother of Deborah A. Martin and her husband Paul of Weymouth, Janet Dolan and her husband James of Weymouth, Kathleen McNeil-Schmitz and her husband Wayne of Rockland, Robert McNeil of Weymouth and Sandra McNeil of Weymouth.  Cherished Nonie of Christopher, James, Jennifer, Corey and Michael and great Noni of James, Connor, Aidan, Sophia, Sam, Addison and Drew.   Caring sister of the late Stella Cardile-Hood and Jennie McGovern.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends, especially Susan MacDonald and the late Lynne Jones. 

Services will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frances may be made to Mal’s Pals foundation. 

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Frances’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
