Frances E. (Waugh) Geden

Mrs. Frances E. (Waugh) Geden, of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died September 17, 2015. She worked for 27 years for UMass Boston as an administrator for student affairs until her retirement. Frances enjoyed reading, but the most joy brought into her life was the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of the late William C. Geden.

Loving mother of the late William Geden, Michael Geden and his wife, Gail, of Weymouth, the late Jean Geden, and Mark Geden and his longtime partner, Teresa Mann, of East Bridgewater. Sister of Maryellen Addams and her husband, Ret. Rear Admiral John Addams of Virginia, and the late Douglas Waugh. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
