Florence T. Spyker

Florence T. (Hurney) Spyker of Bridgewater, formerly of Braintree, died October 22, 2020 at the age of 58.

Florence lived her life for her family and was immensely proud of her children. She worked as a registered nurse and was blessed with an abundance of creativity. Her quilting, cooking and sewing skills were unmatched. Lake Winnipesaukee recently became one of her favorite places and many happy memories were made there.

She was the beloved wife of Sheldon V. Spyker. Proud mother of Courtney Begnoche and her husband Alexander Fay of Lincoln, RI; Amanda Hapenny and her husband Seth of Weymouth; Evan Spyker and his wife Courtnee of Austin, TX; Ryan Spyker of Austin, TX; and her newborn grandson Grayson James Spyker. Loving sister of Hannah Hurney Kandler and her husband Rick. Cherished aunt of Mary Hurney Anderson and her husband Richard; Kaitlyn Hill and her husband Ryan; Thomas Kandler and his wife Laura; and Jaclyn Kandler.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A graveside service with social distancing will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. The procession will queue up in front of the cemetery office at 700 West Street.
