Florence R. Mackinnon

MacKinnon, Florence R. (DaDomo) of Norwell, formerly of Hingham June 28, 2007. Devoted wife of the late William C. MacKinnon. Beloved mother of William C. MacKinnon, Jr. and his wife Janet of MI, Judith F. MacKinnon of Hingham, John A. MacKinnon and his wife Grace of Abington, Paul C. MacKinnon of Wrentham, Corinne “Gail” and her husband Jack Pearson of Hull, and Margaret E. “Peggy” and her husband Stephen Woll of Pembroke. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Louise Ferrera, Mary Leonard, Dorothy Nielsen, Thomas, Vera, and Edward DaDomo. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2 – 6 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Florence R. MacKinnon may be made to Wrentham Special Gift Fund, Wrentham Developmental Center, Wrentham, MA 02093. Florence was very active in the St. Paul’s community. She volunteered for various task for the parish. Florence was a seamtress and during WWII, her contribution was to help make soldiers uniforms. She loved to travel and went to such places as Spain, Africa, and Mexico. Florence enjoyed sewing, cooking, walking, swimming, and Bingo! Most of all, she loved being with her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
