Florence M. Rosman

Florence M. (Schaillee) Rosman,  “Flo” of Weymouth, died March 24, 2017. She was 95.

Flo was born and raised in South Boston and has lived in Weymouth for over 60 years. She proudly served in the first regiment of the Navy Waves. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed reading and playing cards. Flo could often be found at Castle Island and at the beach. Flo loved all children and loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.   

Devoted mother of Candice Flaherty and her husband John of Yarmouth, Deborah Bonarrigo and her husband Paul of Weymouth, Craig Rosman of PA, David Rossman and his wife Tricia of Rockland, Daniel Rosman and his wife Mary of Rockland and the late Brian Pickering and his widow Donna of Foxboro. Former wife of the late Hyman J. Rosman. Cherished Gram of 17 grandchildren and GramGram to 16 great grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Alice Butler (her twin), June Meehan and Patricia Moriarty. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.

Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
