Florence M. Morrell

Morrell, Florence M. (Mitchell) of Quincy, February 11, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Frank L. Morrell and Clovis Casey. Loving mother of Arthur and his wife Jessie of Scituate, William of Quincy, John and his wife Ellen of Quincy, Thomas and his wife Patricia of Quincy, Francis and his wife Irene of Weymouth, Daniel and his wife Marilyn of Quincy, Albert Mitchell and his wife Cathy of Weymouth and the late Nancy McArdle. Mother in law of Joseph McArdle and the late Margaret Morrell. Sister of Arthur of MI, and the late Albert, Francis, Edward, Louise Griffin and Edith Mitchell. Also survived by 30 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Florence attended Burdette College and was a lifelong homemaker to her loving family. She was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader when her children were young. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Mrs. Morrell was a member of the Hough’s Neck Seniors, Catholic Daughter’s of America and Ladies Sodality. Florence wintered for many years in FL. Florence planned an annual Labor Day Family Gathering for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass from Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Hough’s Neck at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
