Florence L. Smith

Florence L. (Shaw) Smith, 94, of Hingham passed peacefully on Thursday, July 13th in Rose Court at Linden Ponds.

She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Malcolm D. Smith, and her son Gregory H. Smith. She is survived by her son Jeffrey M. Smith and his wife Tina of Liberty, Missouri and her son Tracy M. Smith and his wife Lyn of North Hampton, New Hampshire along with her 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A long time resident of Hingham and Centerville, Massachusetts, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest passion was her family.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26th at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 172 Main Street, Hingham.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
