Flora Romano

Flora Romano (Iacobacci) of Quincy, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, November 4, 2021.  She was 87.

She was born in Boston on December 16, 1933 to Phillip Iacobacci and Mary (Forte).  After graduating high school she began working as a clerk for the Federal Reserve where she had a long, distinguished career.

In her spare time, Flora enjoyed spending time with family, visiting the local coffee shop with her friends and traveling.  She was stubborn, pure of heart and never complained.  She was beyond proud of her four children and cherished all seven of her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of 52 years to the late Benjamin Romano.  Loving mother of Michelle Romano of Quincy, Robert Romano and his wife Karyn of Mansfield, Mark Romano and his wife Pam of GA, and Michael Romano and his wife Jenny of TX.  Also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Ryan and his wife Christina, Danny, Joy, Julie, Jamie, Nicholas, and Lily.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, November 12, from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
