Faye C. (Biagini) Galgay

Galgay, Faye C. (Biagini) of Braintree, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 29, 2023. She was 81.

Born in 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ceasar Biagini, Pauline (Clare) Biagini, and stepmother Gladys Biagini.

Faye was born in Quincy and raised in Braintree. She attended local schools and graduated Braintree High School Class of 1960. Faye raised her family in Braintree and Cambridge, and loved traveling, especially to St. Croix, Italy, Dennisport andProvincetown. She was also an avid reader and would spend hours on a good book. Faye was proud of her 36 year career as a banquet waitress at the Sheraton Boston and being a member of the Local 26. More than anything, Faye loved spending time with her family. Football Sundays were a perfect reason for family and friends to gather to watch the Patriots. Faye was truly special and will be missed by all who knew her.

Loving mother to Nancy McCarthy and her husband Robert of Braintree, Laurence Pardo and his wife Sheri of Hingham, Pauline Carroll and her husband Mike of Braintree, and the late Frederick Pardo and his wife Christa of Hingham. Cherished stepmother to Eric Galgay and his wife Claudia, Michelle Galgay, and Marc Galgay and his husband Francisco. Sister to Mark Biagini and his late wife Linda of Braintree, Paula Melchin and her husband Fred of South Boston, and Andrea Taverna and her husband Rick of Norwell. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 11:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
