Faye A. Balcom

Balcom, Faye A. (LoConte) of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2016.

Faye was a retired Bank of Boston employee, and after her retirement, worked at Dunkin’ Donuts and Walmart. She also volunteered at the South Shore Hospital gift shop for many years. Faye worshipped her family and found great joy in attending all extracurricular activities of her grandchildren. She was also a devout member of First Baptist Church in Weymouth, and enjoyed attending Tuesday morning bible study each week. 

Devoted mother of Victoria R. Gambino and her husband Dean of Weymouth, Sherie A. Harris and her husband James of Weymouth, and the late Frank A. LoConte of Quincy. Cherished nana of Kristin Grenier and her husband Scott of Plymouth, Michael and Nicholas Gambino of Holbrook, and Amanda and Anthony Harris of Weymouth. Loving Noni of great-granddaughter Keryn Gambino of Canton. Faye is also survived by her cat Sophie, whom she adored. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday at 10 AM in First Baptist Church, 40 West Street, Weymouth MA 02190.
