Fausta M. Lynch

Lynch, Fausta M. (Lucci) of Hingham, formerly West Dennis, died January 24, 2019.  

Fausta was born in Corfinio, Italy and came to America when she was 5 years old. She was the matriarch of a large extended family who adored her. She and her husband Bob were the glue that kept everyone together. For many years, the couple was the focal point for family gatherings at holidays and introducing an annual family reunion. She loved to travel, especially back to Italy, wintering in Naples, Florida with her husband, and living in West Dennis for many years until relocating recently to Linden Ponds in Hingham. She also enjoyed reading, baking, crosswords, and being with family and friends. Fausta was a kind, gracious, and compassionate woman who will be missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Americo and Ida (Cervini) Lucci. Beloved wife of 59 years to Bob Lynch. Loving mother of Chris Lynch and his wife Maria Elena of Needham and Jeff Lynch and his wife Sue of Holliston. Cherished sister of Alfonso Lucci and his wife Dianne of Reading, Remo Lucci and his wife Sherri of Tinley Park, IL and the late Anthony Lucci and his wife Eleanor and Renzo Lucci and his surviving spouse Patricia of Naples, FL. Devoted Grandma of Dennis, Peter, Matthew, Ryan, Thomas, Andrew, and Sophia Lynch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fausta may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
