Faith L. Allegra

Allegra, Faith L (Maynard) of Hingham, died February 3, 2012, surrounded by her family, she was 70. The beloved wife of 51 years to Frank Allegra, Ret. HPD of Hingham. Devoted mother of Jeffrey M. Allegra of FL, James M. Allegra and his wife Denise of Hingham. Devoted mother/grandmother of Kimberlee Allegra of Hingham, Gino Allegra of Whitman. Jesse Allegra & Cameron Allegra both of Hingham. Daughter of the late John & Marjorie Maynard. Cherished sister of Virginia Girouard of Pembroke, John Maynard of Cohasset and the late Nancy Maynard Wokoun. Faith is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. A lifelong Hingham resident, Faith worked at the Allerton House in Hingham, there she took great care and pride in caring for the residents. She enjoyed cooking and truly loved spending time at Gun Rock Beach. The true focus of her life was her family. She devoted her life to them and in return they adored her. She brought style and grace to their lives and they are so grateful for all the blessings she gave them. Although they are heart broken, they know what a wonderful legacy she leaves behind. Faith will be sadly missed by all those who were lucky to have been part of her amazing life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 11 in the First Baptist Church, 85 Main St. Hingham at 11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Faith may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Fund, 313 Washington St. Suite 310, Newton, MA.
