Redmond, Everett W., Sr. of Braintree formerly of Quincy, April 17, 2007. Husband of the late Frances E. (McCarron) Redmond. Father of Linda M. Mezzetti and her husband James of Holbrook, Everett W. Redmond, Jr and his wife Sam of Brewster and Paul J. Redmond and his wife Rita of Weymouth. Brother of the late Maurice, Pius, Ivan, Augustine, Harold and Basil Redmond, Edna Lacey and Margaret Redmond. Everett is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mr. Redmond may be made to ALS Foundation for Life, PO 504, Franklin, MA 02038 . Everett was owner and president for 50 years of E.W. Roofing in Quincy. He retired in 1998. He was a member of the Canadian-American Club in Watertown. Mr. Redmond enjoyed dancing, but spent most of his life working . He was a hard worker and a longtime parishioner at St. Ann’s Church in Wollaston.Mr. Redmond was a very social and outgoing person, he would greet peolple with a big smile and a friendly hand shake. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
