Evelyn Vasile

Vasile, Evelyn (Bryant) of Quincy, died May 12, 2015. 

Beloved wife of the late Albert J.Vasile. Loving mother of Albert J. Visile Jr. and his wife Barbara of Quincy and Walter Vasile and his wife Patty of Holbrook.  Sister of Claire Shea of Marshfield.  Cherished grandmother of Kevin Nee, Brian and  Kaitlyn  Vasile. Dear aunt of Kathy Shea of Marshfield, Susan Laffin and her husband Jack of Scuitate, Nancy Keane and her husband Thomas of Marshfield and Lydia Devlin and her husband Andrew of W. Roxbury.  Sister in law of Frank and Barbara Vasile of New Jersey and Joseph Vasile of California. Evelyn is also survived by several nieces and nephews in New Jersey and California.

Evelyn was born in Quincy and raised in Dorchester.  She settled in Quincy where she lived for 49 years. She worked as a Bookkeeper for over 20 years.  She was a loving and devoted mother to her two sons who were her pride and joy.  She became very involved in activities with her boys whether it be sporting events or volunteering at Montclair School. She was an talented seamstress and loved to sew.  Most of all Evelyn loved and enjoyed being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45am on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
