Evelyn Torrey

Evelyn Torrey, 88, went to be with Jesus on January 15, 2022, at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth.

She was born October 31, 1933, to William Francis Torrey Jr. and Dorothy Hammond Torrey and lived all her life in Weymouth.  She was homeschooled by her father and after completing her education worked for Milton Hospital in various positions for 33 years.  She was an accomplished musician on the piano and organ and loved playing for special occasions at church.  Evelyn loved people and always had a ready smile for everyone.  She faithfully attended church and was a member of Glad Tidings Church, Quincy.  For the past few years, she has been part of Crossroads Worship Center, Weymouth.  Evelyn is survived by her brother, George Torrey of Weymouth.

Services will be private, and burial will be with her parents in Claremont, NH.
