Evelyn P. Forkin

Forkin, Evelyn P. (Queenan) of Quincy, died March 1, 2017. 

The beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Forkin, Sr. Cherished mother of Joseph S. Forkin, Jr. of Easton, Barbara Firicano of Weymouth, Joan McDaniel and Janice Forkin both of Quincy. Loving sister of Joseph Queenan of Braintree and the late Francis Queenan. Devoted Nana to Christopher McDaniel, Joseph and Marissa Firicano, Ryan and Erica Forkin, Danielle Vanelli, Jennifer Crivellaro and the late Kristina Firicano. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Evelyn worked for Jordan Marsh in Boston for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods. She loved playing games with her family.  The center of her life was her family especially her grandchildren, she adored them and in her eyes they could do no wrong. She was devoted to them all. She will be remembered as a true lady with a quiet personality, who simply cherished her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. 

Funeral services were private.  Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to VNA Hospice of Boston, 500 Rutherford Avenue, #200, Charlestown, MA 02129, .
