Evelyn M. Carney

Carney, Evelyn M. (McHugh) of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester November 3, 2007. Beloved daughter of Eileen B. (Connelly) and John J. Joyce Sr. of Dorchester and the late Peter P. McHugh, devoted wife of Ronald Carney of Quincy, Loving mother of Danielle M. McHugh of Dorchester, Meghan M. McHugh of Quincy and Michael P. Carney of Quincy, Cherished sister of Paul T. McHugh of Dorchester, John J. Joyce, Jr. of Dorchester, and David M. Joyce of Stoughton, and the late Michael A. and Patrick J. Joyce. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews and several relatives in Cleveland, OH, England and Ireland. Evelyn was Born in Boston and raised and educated in Dorchester. She was a Graduate of Msgr. Ryan Memorial High School in Dorchester. She was a Loving and devoted mother to her three children, whom she loved being at home caring for them. Evelyn loved to bake and cook. She enjoyed doing crafts and photography. She was a caring neighbor and friend. Most of all Evelyn’s family was the center of her life. She will be missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4- 8 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
