Evelyn C. MacDonald (Chmiel) of Quincy, died April 19, 2013.

Beloved wife of Charles “Chuck”  MacDonald of Quincy.  Loving mother of Joe MacDonald of Quincy, Brian MacDonald, USMC of North Carolina, Courtney and Katie MacDonald both of Quincy.  Devoted daughter of Alicia Chmiel of Quincy and the late Joseph Chmiel.  Sister of Basia Fratus of E. Bridgewater and Lucy McNeil of Weymouth.

Evelyn was born in Boston and lived in Dorchester before settling in Quincy where she lived for the past 40 years.  She was a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 1980.  Evelyn worked at Manet Community Health Center for 7 years until she became ill.  Evelyn enjoyed watching television and was an avid Patriots fan.  She will be remembered by her family as being a wonderful wife and mother to her 4 children.  Her family was truly the cornerstone of her life, she cherished them all.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
