Eveline C. Beal

Beal, Eveline C. (Sobczak) of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, died August 30, 2015. 

Eveline’s family meant the world to her and she especially enjoyed playing ball with her great grandson “Drewbug”.  Perhaps the proudest moment of her life was becoming a United States citizen on June 5, 1972.  She was a talented seamstress and a wonderful cook.  Eveline will be remembered for her compassion, determination, stubbornness, and the ability to help other people, even before herself. 

Beloved wife of the late Vernon Beal.  Loving mother of Allen Beal, Rena Austin and her husband Francis; all of Weymouth, and the late Paul W. Beal.  Cherished grandmother of Lora Baker and Frankie Austin.  Devoted great grandmother to Andrew “Drewbug” Baker.  Also survived by her brothers, sisters, and several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.
