Eugene S. Lee, Sr.

Lee, Eugene S., Sr. of Hull, a retired Boston Police Officer, passed away in his home on April 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Linda L. (Lank) Lee. Devoted father of Eugene Lee, Jr, Russell Lee, Gerald Lee, Ronald Lee, Colleen Thirdgill, Christopher Hill, and Ellys Lee. Stepson of Edward Perrelli. Brother of Louise Cephus. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Until his retirement in 1988, Eugene completed his 32 career as a Boston Police Officer. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing football and was also well known for being a fast pitcher in his softball games. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure knowing him and also had such a great sense of humor. Eugene was a member of the Boston Policeman Patrolmans Association and was also a veteran serving with the United States Coast Guard. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hull High School Athletic Department,180 Main Street, Hull, MA 02045. Burial will be private.
