Eugene Eben Richards

Richards, Eugene Eben of Port Orange, FL, formerly of Wollaston, April 26, 2003. Husband of the late Helen L. (Hyland) Richards. He is survived by his children, Eugene Edward of Brooklyn, NY; Eileen Margaret Jacome of Port Orange, FL; & three grandchildren, Sam Richards, Kristina Jacome, and Tiffany Norman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Friday 7-9 PM. A prayer service will be held during visiting hours. A graveside service will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Richards, Eugene Eben, age 93, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003. Born in Malden, MA he and his late wife, Helen, had lived in Wollaston, MA, for 48 years. A painter by trade, Mr. Richards had been employed at the American Can Company, later at the Fore River Shipyard. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Revolution, having served as both a chapter president and historian.
