Eugene Dixon

Dixon, Eugene of Quincy, died November 9, 2014. 

Gene proudly served in the United States Coast Guard and went on to become a well renowned photographer for the Boston Herald for many years. Photography was his passion in life and he enjoyed spreading his knowledge with others around him. He loved teaching the tricks of the trade and seeing others succeed in the field. His other passion was his wife Angela, together more than 50 years, and his family. They will remember him for his generosity, fair and kind nature, and his incredible sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all of those that knew him.

Devoted husband of Angela Kaloventzou-Dixon of Quincy. Also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
