Ethel M. Curran

Ethel M. (Bora) Curran of Quincy (93), died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on March 27, 2018.

Devoted wife of the late Arthur T. Curran.  Unconditionally loving mother of Donald Rowley of Burrillville, RI, Laurene (Curran) Price and her husband Jim Price of Marshfield, MA, Janice (Curran) Bickley and her husband Barry Bickley of North Andover, MA, and Kim (Curran) Colomey and her husband Tom Colomey of Cumberland, RI. Proud Nana of Jack Price, Brianna, Michael and Jaime Bickley, and Luke and Robbie Colomey.

Daughter of the late Eilert and Wilhelmina (Haugh) Bora.  Cherished sister of George Bora and the late Eleanor (Bora) Scherer. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ethel cherished the time she spent with her family, was a talented hair stylist, enjoyed volunteering for church and school activities, and was proud to serve her country in World War II in the United States Army.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Keohane Funeral Home at 785 Hancock St. Quincy, MA.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Chrysostom’s Episcopal Church, 1 Linden St. Quincy, MA.  Following the service, Ethel will be buried with military honors at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
