Ernestine L. Bostwick

Bostwick, Ernestine L. (Meda) “Tina” of Middleborough, passed away January 20, 2013 at the age of 100.

Tina grew up in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High School and went on to attend the Mass School of Art. She worked in various capacities over the years including a Quincy policewoman (Francis Parker School) and an accountant for Grossman’s, Quincy City Hall and Quincy Public Schools. She taught Sunday School at Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy, volunteered at South Shore Hospital and was a member of the Weymouth Happy Hikers. Tina enjoyed travel, gardening, ballroom dancing and playing cards.

 Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Bostwick. Devoted mother of Donna Davidson of Middleborough and Robert Bostwick of South Carolina. Cherished grandmother of Michael Davidson of Middleboro, Stephan Davidson of CT, Robert Bostwick of Paxton, David Bostwick of Pembroke, Thomas Bostwick of Plymouth and “GiGi” (great-grandmother) to Liana and Alex Davidson, Jenna, Allison, Joshua and Amanda Bostwick. Tina was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday 10 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.)  A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
