Peredetto, Sr., Ernest John “Ernie” of Viera, FL formerly of Quincy, September 17, 2007. The beloved husband of 45 years to Catherine “Rena” (Finn) Peredetto. Loving father of Catherine Peredetto of Suntree, FL , Ernest J. Peredetto and his wife Lynn of Rockland and Christine Ferrini and her husband Ronald of Rockledge, FL. Brother of Louis Peredetto of Oklahoma City, Joseph Peredetto of Washington, IL, George Peredetto of Peoria, IL, and Beverly Mansfield of Newark, IL. Devoted “PA” to Sean, Catie and Matthew Bailey, Amanda Peredetto, Ernest J. Peredetto, III, Jessica & Victoria Peredetto and Adam Ferrini. Great Grandfather of Anthony. Ernie also leaves his beloved companion Dutchess. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, WOLLASTON, Monday at 11:30am, Visiting hours Sunday 2-6pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 6 Baxter St. Quincy, MA 02169. Ernest “Ernie” as he was called, was born in Coal City, IL and grew up in Morris ,IL. He entered the United States Navy on August 27, 1959 and served until July 14, 1964, while in the service he met and married Catherine Finn, who is called “Rena”. They married in 1962 and raised their family in Quincy, Sudbury and Whitman. Ernie loved to garden and enjoyed bird watching. He loved to tinker with projects and was called a Jack of all trades. He enjoyed playing tennis and love to bowl. His family recalls what a wonderful artist he was. Ernie found great pleasure with all the household projects he took on . His wife of 45 years “Rena ” and his three children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Ernie will be remembered as a fun loving, caring, passionate, creative and a beautiful person. He was a kind and generous man to all who had the pleasure of knowning him. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Ernie.
