Zimmerman, Ernest J. of Quincy died January 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Goodwin) Zimmerman of Quincy. Devoted father of Mark C. Zimmerman and his fiancee Kara Barry of Randolph, Brian J. Zimmerman of Quincy, and Eric C. Zimmerman and his wife Maura of Weymouth. Loving brother of the late Mary Ann Allen. Dear nephew of Margaret King and Catherine McGue both of Quincy. Close friend of Uncle George Wagner. Also survived by many cousins. Ernie was a resident of Quincy for over 40 years. He worked for the Water Department for the City of Quincy. Ernie was the Past President of the Quincy Youth Hockey Association and also served on the Board of Directors. He was an avid sports fan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ernest J.
