Ernest H. Boutchia

Ernest H. Boutchia of Taunton, formerly of Weymouth and Dorchester, died November 25, 2017 at the age of 71.

Ernie retired in 2008 after 22 years with the United States Postal Service in South Boston. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, traveling and his Boston Terrier Elvis.

Son of the late William and Sabra Boutchia. Beloved husband of Lori J. Boutchia and the late Dorothy (Burnette) Boutchia. Loving father of Marian Muise and partner John Romiglio of Milford, John Walker and partner Kim Davis of Douglas, Patricia Shine of Plymouth, Michelle Sanderson and husband Scott of Charlton, Amanda Kuznicki and husband Jacob of Alpena, MI and the late Christine Draycott and her husband Robert of Woonsocket, RI and the late Robert Walker, Jr. of Golden, CO. Brother of Tom Boutchia and wife Kathleen of Bellingham and Sabra Perkins of Acton. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will take place Thursday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
