Ernest F. “Ernie” Anastos

Anastos, Ernest F. “Ernie”, of Hull July 21, 2003. Loving husband of Patricia (Wallace) and father of Ernest Anastos Jr of San Diego, CA, Janice Ryan of Fairfield, CA, and Sheri Anastos of Hull. Brother of Achilles Anastos, Christus Anastos and Demetra Connor,all of Hingham and the late Elizabeth Cobb and the late Juliette Comano. Loving grandfather of Theo Anastos of San Diego. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Anastos was very active in the Hull community where his store, Anastos Variety and Hardware was located. He and his brother Achilles founded the store over 50 years ago. He was a graduated of Hingham High School, Tufts University and Midshipman’s School at Columbia University. He had served in World War Two as Lieutenant J.G. in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 . Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mr Anastos may be made to Leukemia Society of America 495 Old Connecticut Path Framingham, MA 01701. Ernie was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.
