Ernest D. Way, Jr.

Way, Ernest D., Jr. of Abington, passed away February 8, 2018.

Ernest was born in Boston to the late Ernest and Marion Way. He grew up in Dorchester, later becoming a resident of Weymouth, Florida and currently Abington. Ernest was a sports fan, gun enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and playing the organ.

Loving father of Jennifer, Mike, Pam, Joan, Chris, Patti and Kenny. Beloved companion of Patricia Hoey and her sons, Glen and the late Jamie, and former husband of the late Sally (Barth) Way. Dear brother of Judy, Carol, Billy and the late Robert. Proud grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A burial service will be held on Monday at 11AM in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
