Enrik Cela

Enrik Cela, of Quincy, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness on Monday, January 03, 2022.  He was 76.

Enrik was born to Ndok Cela and Angje (Kraja) and raised in Shkoder, Albania. After graduating from high school, he worked as a truck driver for most of his life supporting his family.  After 45 years in Albania, he immigrated to Boston Massachusetts with his family in 1996 to provide a better life for his wife and his two sons.

Enrik enjoyed spending time with family the most, especially his cherished grandchildren who were the centerpiece of his life. He will be remembered as a fun, caring, generous person who was quick to forgive and always had something kind to say. He will be sorely missed by his loving family.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Tone (Coku) Cela of Quincy. Loving son-in law of Llesh Toma (Coku) and brother-in law of Tom Coku. Devoted father to Anton Cela and his wife Kristen of South Boston and Edmond Cela and his wife Ilda of Milton.  Cherished Gjysh to Mateo, Aria, Samantha and Alexandra Cela.  Beloved brother to Terezina (Cela) Martini. Loving uncle to Albana (Martini) Jubani, Regina Martini, Tinka (Martini) McCauley, and Fabian Martini.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday, January 7, 2022, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
