Mango, Emmanuel “Manny” of Quincy, died February 28, 2024.
Manny adored his family and spending time together. He loved cooking and baking, especially Christmas cookies and birthday cakes for his children. He enjoyed walks on the beach, Dunks, and scratch tickets and playing the lottery. He worked a variety of career paths over the years to take care of his family. Manny was a people person who was a smart, caring, and selfless man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed for his Sunday Facebook posts giving the rundown of the week and his generous spirit.
Beloved husband of Mary Mango of Quincy. Cherished father of Jennifer Buckley and her husband Christopher of Quincy and Erik Mango and his partner Vanessa Kushmerek of Quincy. Loving brother of David Mango and his wife Linda of PA, Rosemary Miller of MA, Dianne Collins and her late husband Ralph of MA, Charlene Westerdale and her husband Chuck of NH, and the late Vincent “Paul” Mango and his wife Theresa and the late Josephine O’Hare and her husband Peter. Devoted “Bumpa” to Christina, Caitlyn, and Brian Buckley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Wonderful”, his friends Audeno Bavaro, Paul Hayward, and many other dear friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral home service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Manny may be made to the Quincy Animal Shelter, PO Box 690088, Quincy, MA 02269-0088.
