DiCarlo, Elvira R. (DeMattia) of Middleborough,formerly of Quincy, passed away January 13, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Salvatore M. DiCarlo. Loving mother of Debi Gott and her husband Greg of Middleborough and the late Dennis DiCarlo. Mother in law of Louise Dicarlo of Stoneham. Sister of Sarah “DaDa” Fantasia of Revere, Evelyn Deluca of Revere and the late Sam, Edna, Julia, Jenny, Phyllis, Eddie and Johnny. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly Willis and her husband John of Plymouth and Kelli Guarino and her husband Vinny of Quincy. Great-grandmother of Arianna, Alessandra, Enzo and Vito.
Elvira lived in Quincy for many years before moving to Middleborough seven years ago. She was past president of the Eagles Womens Club in Quincy and an active former resident of Granite Place in Quincy where she worked in the office and ran the bingo program. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Foxwoods, playing cards, baking and dancing. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 9:00am- 10:30am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30am in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery- Rockland. Donations in memory of Elvira may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
