DiBella-McGinley, Elsie L. (Hurley) of Quincy formerly of Hyde Park, September 20, 2004. Beloved wife of Albert S. DiBella, Sr. of Quincy. Loving mother of James C. McGinley of N. Quincy, Walter E. “Mac” McGinley, III of Scituate, Joseph DiBella of NC, Donna DiBella of Braintree, Nancy DiBella of Sandwich, Gregory DiBella and Albert S. DiBella, Jr., both of N. Quincy. Loving grandmother of Elena, Teresa, Mathew & Melissa McGinley and Kristen, Angela, Albie, Carina, Matthew & Kelly DiBella. Sister of Phyllis Belben of Weymouth, William T. Hurley of FL and the late Eleanor Brady & Charles Hurley. Elsie died after a long struggle with cancer over the past several years. Her courage and strength surprised her doctors but her family knew she had the fortitude to continue on. She was a longtime Bingo player at Sacred Heart School. Elsie’s home was always open to her children’s friends while they were growing up. Her spaghetti and meatball dinners were legendary and still talked about to this day. She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband and family at Palm Bay, FL for the past 10 years. Elsie was a graduate of Hyde Park High School.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-9 PM. Burial in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to Hospice of the South Shore 100 Baystate Drive P.O. Box 9060 Braintree, MA 02184.
