Elmer E. Murray

Murray, Elmer E. of Randolph, died April 25, 2020. Elmer was born in Fairbury Nebraska to the late Elmer and Lillian. He grew up in Nebraska and joined the Army and Navy after high school. For many years, Elmer worked as a truck driver for the Unites States Postal Service and at General Dynamics at the Quincy shipyard. He enjoyed reading, watching science fiction movies and spending time with his family and cat. Husband of the late Joan Murray. Father of Susan G. Cicchese of Abington, Kenneth Shepard and Kevin Murray. Proud grandfather of Matthew Winsor, Kimberly Krause, Andrew Shepard and Alanna Shepard and great grandfather of James and Max Winsor. Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Elmer’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
