Ellen M. (Walsh) Barry of Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 15, 2022. She was 83 years old.

Ellen was an active parishioner of St. Thomas Moore Parish in Braintree for over 50 years. She also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield / Medicare for 16 years.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Barry. Loving mother of Joseph E. Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Patrick and wife MaryAnne, James and wife Susan, all of Abington, David and wife Paula of Walpole, Robert and wife Jennifer of Braintree, and Megan and husband James Lynch of Hanover. Devoted Grams/ Grammy to 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Dennehy and Kathy Lavin of Braintree, Nancy and her husband Bob Buck of MD., and Peggy Curtis of FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
