Elizabeth Slocum
Elizabeth (Betty) Slocum died after a long illness on Feb 15th at her home in Linden Ponds, Hingham, MA. She was the daughter of James and Alma (Richards) Connaughton and was born in Providence, RI on October 7, 1927. Betty had many fond memories of growing up in Providence, including ice skating at Roger Williams Park. After high school she attended R. I. State College, graduating as her senior class president in 1949, and she earned a Masters degree in 1987.
