King, Elizabeth “Ruth” (Doyle) of Quincy formerly of Limerick, Ireland, died September 9, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Denis King. Cherished sister of Christopher Doyle and his wife Gerda of Weymouth, Denis Doyle and his wife Anna of Ireland, May McIntosh and her husband Mark of Las Vegas, Dolores Doyle of Ireland and the late Kathleen O’Brien, Rose Quilligan and Patrick Doyle. Dear Aunt of Chris Doyle and his wife Sarah, Edward Doyle and his wife Elizabeth and Susan Webb and her husband Richard. Ruth is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews both in the US and Ireland.She was born and raised in Limerick, Ireland. She came over to the US in 1955. She was a talented seamstress who worked for Jordan Marsh and later Macy’s for more than 30 years. She enjoyed traveling yearly to Ireland and Las Vegas to visit her family. She always enjoyed the water either taking walks and living by the ocean. She was a vibrant outgoing woman who cherished her family and truly enjoyed her life. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Ruth will be remembered as a devoted sister and aunt who adored her nieces and nephews. Ruth was very proud of her Irish heritage.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
